From The Blaze:
"Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered additional
security for the U.S. mission in Benghazi ahead of the terrorist attack but the
orders were never carried out, according to “legal counsel” to Clinton who
spoke to best-selling author Ed Klein. Those same sources also say former
President Bill Clinton has been “urging” his wife to release official State
Department documents that prove she called for additional security at the
compound in Libya, which would almost certainly result in President Obama losing
the election."
"Appearing on TheBlazeTV’s “Wilkow!” on Wednesday
night, Klein told host Andrew Wilkow that Bill and Hillary Clinton have been
having “big fights” for “two or three weeks” about the issue, according to his
two sources on Clinton’s legal counsel. While Bill Clinton wishes his wife
would “exonerate” herself by releasing the documents that show she wasn’t at
fault for the tragic security failure in Libya, the secretary of state refuses
to do so because she doesn’t want to be viewed as a traitor to the Democratic
party."
This just gets worse and worse.
"CBS News has learned that during the Sept. 11 attack
on the U.S. Mission in Benghazi, the Obama Administration did not convene its
top interagency counterterrorism resource: the Counterterrorism Security Group,
(CSG).
"The CSG is the one group that's supposed to know what
resources every agency has. They know of multiple options and have the ability
to coordinate counterterrorism assets across all the agencies," a
high-ranking government official told CBS News. "They were not allowed to
do their job. They were not called upon."
Information shared with CBS News from top counterterrorism
sources in the government and military reveal keen frustration over the U.S.
response on Sept. 11, the night Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other
Americans were killed in a coordinated attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.
The circumstances of the attack, including the intelligence
and security situation there, will be the subject of a Senate Intelligence
Committee closed hearing on Nov. 15, with additional hearings to follow.
Counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS
News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not
called upon to help in the attack."
“According to this report, yesterday (27 October) Obama
ordered the immediate removal of Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette [photo 2nd
left] from his command of the powerful Carrier Strike Group Three (CSG-3)
[photo 3rd left] currently located in the Middle East.
CSG-3 is one of five US Navy carrier strike groups currently
assigned to the US Pacific Fleet. US Navy carrier strike groups are employed in
a variety of roles, which involve gaining and maintaining sea control and
projecting power ashore, as well as projecting naval airpower ashore.
The aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) is the
strike group's current flagship, and as of 2012, other units assigned to
Carrier Strike Group Three include Carrier Air Wing Nine; the guided-missile
cruisers USS Mobile Bay (CG-53) and USS Antietam (CG-54); and the ships of
Destroyer Squadron 21, the guided-missile destroyers USS Wayne E. Meyer
(DDG-108), USS Dewey (DDG-105), USS Kidd (DDG-100), and USS Milius (DDG-69).
US news reports on Obama’s unprecedented firing of a
powerful US Navy Commander during wartime state that Admiral Gaouette’s removal
was for “allegations of inappropriate
leadership judgment” that arose during the strike group’s deployment to the Middle
East.
This GRU report, however, states that Admiral Gaouette’s
firing by President Obama was due to this strike force commander disobeying
orders when he ordered his forces on 11 September to “assist and provide
intelligence for” American military forces ordered into action by US Army General
Carter Ham, who was then the commander of the United States Africa Command
(AFRICOM), against terrorist forces attacking the American Consulate in
Benghazi, Libya.
General Ham had been in command of the initial 2011 US-NATO
military intervention in Libya who, like Admiral Gaouette, was fired by Obama.
And as we can, in part, read from US military insider accounts of this growing
internal conflict between the White House and US Military leaders:
“The information I heard today was that General [Carter] Ham
as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received
requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately
had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a
unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to stand down. His
response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a
minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended
General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.”

ABC News:
“In an unusual move, the Navy has replaced an admiral
commanding an aircraft carrier strike group while it is deployed to the Middle
East. The replacement was prompted by
an Inspector General’s investigation of allegations of inappropriate leadership
judgment.
Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette, the commander of the USS John
C. Stennis strike group, is being returned to the United States for temporary
reassignment.
In a statement the Navy said it had approved a request made
by Vice Adm. John W. Miller, the Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central
Command, to temporarily reassign Gaouette
“pending the results of an investigation by the Navy Inspector General.”
The statement said Gaoutte would return to the carrier’s
home port of Bremerton, Washington.
A Navy official familiar with the circumstances of the
investigation said it involved allegations of “inappropriate leadership
judgment” and stressed it was not related to personal conduct.
The Stennis group arrived in the Fifth Fleet’s area of
operations on Oct. 17 to replace the USS Enterprise, which was on the final
deployment of its 50 years of service.
The allegations are recent and were made within the last couple of
weeks.
The Stennis returned to Bremerton in March from a
seven-month deployment to the Middle East.
In July the Pentagon ordered the carrier to deploy in August — four
months ahead of schedule — so a two-carrier presence could be maintained in the
Middle East after the Enterprise finished its deployment. The other carrier strike group currently
operating in the Fifth Fleet is the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Gaouette’s Chief of Staff, Capt. William C. Minter, will
lead the strike group until Rear Adm. Troy M. Shoemaker arrives to take command
“until the matter is resolved.”

The real October “surprise’:
Three urgent requests from the CIA annex for military
back-up during the attack on the Consulate and attack nearly seven hours later
were denied by officials in the CIA chain of command — who told the CIA
operators to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador when shots were heard
in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were part of a small team who
were at the CIA annex about a mile from the Consulate where Chris Stevens and
his team came under attack.
They radioed their higher-ups . They were told to “stand
down.”
Who gave those stand-down orders? Was the CIA director in on
any part of this decision?
A Special Operations team, in Europe had been moved to
Sigonella, Italy, but they were told to stand down. They could have flown to
Benghazi in less than two hours. They were the same distance to Benghazi as
those in Tripoli. Specter gunships are used by Special Operations to provide
air support.
The special operator on the roof of the CIA annex had visual
contact and a laser pointing at the Libyan mortar team that was targeting the
annex. The operators were calling in coordinates of where the Libyan forces
were firing from.
“There’s a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on
here,” Panetta said
“Monday morning quarterbacking”? They had a laser on the
target. An F-18 could have reached the scene from Sigonella in about an hour
and destroyed it.

were firing from.
Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."
Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.
At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.
CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood, though, denied the claims that requests for support were turned down.
"We can say with confidence that the Agency reacted quickly to aid our colleagues during that terrible evening in Benghazi," she said. "Moreover, no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. In fact, it is important to remember how many lives were saved by courageous Americans who put their own safety at risk that night-and that some of those selfless Americans gave their lives in the effort to rescue their comrades."
The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours -- enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 (The Washington Times) -- Congressional
Republicans on Wednesday spotlighted a newly revealed email that shows Obama
administration officials were told within hours of the Sept. 11 attack on the
U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that an al-Qaeda-inspired militant group had
claimed responsibility for the assault.
After the White House and State Department downplayed the
significance of the email Wednesday, Republican Sens. John McCain, Lindsey
Graham and Kelly Ayotte sent a letter to President Obama asking why U.S.
officials “described the attack for days afterward as a spontaneous response to
an anti-Islam video.”
“These emails make clear that your administration knew
within two hours of the attack that it was a terrorist act and that Ansar
al-Sharia, a Libyan militant group with links to al Qaeda, had claimed
responsibility for it,” the senators’ letter states. “This latest revelation
only adds to the confusion surrounding what you and your administration knew
about the attacks in Benghazi, when you knew it, and why you responded to those
tragic events in the ways that you did.”
There cell phones and satellite phones would not work. So
they sent out emails, in real time, that State forwarded to the White House
situation room. The attack went on for six hours until the attackers brought in
heavy mortars to finish the job. Our people asked for help, we had lots of
forces standing by off shore and at bases in Italy. and no help was sent. Obama
went to sleep two hours into the attack. If you really care.
WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- The White House, U.S. State
Department and FBI knew an extremist group attacked the U.S. Consulate in
Benghazi, Libya, hours after it happened, emails revealed.
CNN reported Wednesday one of the emails it obtained
identified Ansar al-Sharia as claiming responsibility for the attack on its
Facebook page and on Twitter.
The collection of emails posed more questions about the
initial reaction within the Obama administration about who orchestrated the
attack Sept. 11 in which Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three
other diplomatic employees were killed, and the reason behind it.
“The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington
within 24 hours of last month's deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there
was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about
an American-made video ridiculing Islam's Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have
told The Associated Press.”
Will Hillary fight back, may already be starting!
"In a humiliating admission, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said today that there was an explicit link between the al Qaeda network in North Africa and the deadly attacks on the U.S. consulate in Libya, backtracking from what the State Department had said previously."

Wow, The British Daily Telegraph is reporting just how bad
this is.
"Sources have told the Daily Telegraph that just five
unarmed locally hired Libyans were placed on duty at the compound on eight-hour
shifts under a deal that fell outside the State Department’s global security
contracting system.
Blue Mountain, the Camarthen firm that won a $387,000
(£241,000) one year contract from the US State Department to protect the
compound in May, sent just one British employee, recruited from the celebrity
bodyguard circuit, to oversee the work.
Blue Mountain, which is run by a former member of the SAS,
received paper work to operate in Libya last year following the collapse of Col
Muammar Gaddafi’s regime. It worked on short term contacts to guard an
expatriate housing compound and a five-star hotel in Tripoli before landing the
prestigious US deal.
Other firms in the security industry expressed surprise that
Blue Mountain had won a large, high profile contract from the US government.
One industry executive said the level of service Blue Mountain provided did not
appear adequate to the risks presented by a lawless city."

away.....leaving the four Americans defenseless.

The CIA knew Benghazi was a terror attack as soon as it
started, they knew there were no protests, the only question is when did Obama
know and where did the story come from.
The consulate had cameras and it could be seen live in the
US and they knew there was no protest during the attack or at any time that
day.
Did the CIA hide this from Biden and Obama?
Was it covered in the CIA daily brief the next morning?
WHY did Obama continue the story about a protest that no one
heard of but him?
See Obama, this is why those boring old Daily Security
Briefs are so important.
You say "I don't go because I read them" and
"don't you know I am called the world’s greatest consumer of intelligence
information, because I am so smart?"
The CIA agents flew out that night.
No one, anywhere, saw or reported any "protests going
on for hours"
The CIA gave you a briefing on it the next morning, except
you were not there.
You did read that one didn't you?.
What else would you have doing in Vegas?
Yet you and your people said it was because of a protest
going on for hours over a video.
You even arrested the film maker
Not to late to start doing your homework, or maybe it is.
Benghazi cover-up right now
It was a completely made up story.
Two planes full of Americans, including CIA agents in the fight, flew out that night.
They would have been debriefed ASAP upon landing. This would have been at the top of the POTUS Daily Security Brief within 24 hours.
The story in al Jazeera the next day had no mention of any protest. Just the attack.

"All of us at post were in sync that we wanted these resources," the top regional security officer in Libya over the summer, Eric Nordstrom, testified. "In those conversations, I was specifically told [by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Charlene Lamb] ‘You cannot request an SST [Site Security Team] extension.' I determined I was told that because there would be too much political cost. We went ahead and requested it anyway."
Nordstrom was so critical of the State Department's reluctance to respond to his calls for more security that he said, "For me, the Taliban is on the inside of the building."
"We felt great frustration that those requests were ignored or just never met," testified Lt. Col. Andrew Wood, a Utah National Guardsman who was leading a security team in Libya until August.
Issa released the unclassified cables containing those requests.

State department itself testified Monday that it was NOT
funding cuts that cut the security in Benghazi.
And this budget included everything, security was only a
part.
They can make adjustments within the budget.
Oh here's one:
“The Washington Times is reporting that at the same time
State Department officials were cutting security for our diplomatic stations in
Libya, they were increasing the budget for our embassy in Austria in order to
purchase Chevrolet's electric powered Volt”
Because who would possible attack an Embassy where the cars
were “green”?
